Bolsava says goodbye to Blinkova in a tense tie-break

The Spanish Aliona Bolsava (107th in the WTA ranking) lost 4-6, 6-1 and 7-6 (4) this Wednesday against Russian Anna Blinkova, number 65, and said goodbye to the tournament in Rome in the second round.

Bolsava had passed two qualifying rounds and had surprised this Monday by beating the American Alison Riske in her first main draw match, but a tense final tiebreaker was fatal for her this Wednesday in pitch 1 of Foro Italico.

Montenegrin Danka Kovinic, who entered the main draw after going through qualifying qualifying This Wednesday embittered the return to competition of the Swiss Belinda Bencic, sixth favorite, in the second round of the Rome tournament, by beating it by a hard 6-3 and 6-1.
