LaLiga teams must take stock of the season and plan the project for the next. One of the concerns that they must correct it is the increasingly evident lack of goal in the Spanish championship, the figure has dropped for the third consecutive year. To do this, they must look for players, both within their quarries and in the transfer market, who have good marksmanship; In addition, they must ensure that they do not let their scorers escape to set course for other teams and leagues.
The Spanish championship has passed in five years from being the one who scored the most goals (1,034) to being the second least (942), alone behind the French league (704), who decided to end the season in the absence of ten days. Whether compare goals per game between LaLiga and Ligue 1French comes out as more effective facing goal (2.52 for 2.47 in Spain). While the Spanish Primera has been falling in this number for three seasons, the Premier remains on average with ups and downs, but never lower than a thousand goals per season. The Bundesliga, meanwhile, continues to grow in this area. What's more, the German clubs have scored 40 more goals than the Spanish and that 74 fewer games are played in their championship. Average number of goals per game in the Bundesliga is 3.2, almost a goal more than in LaLiga.

But the championship that has been growing little by little until becoming this season the league with the most goals has been Serie A (1,154). Proof of this is the Golden Boot, being Cyrus Immbolie, from Lazio, the new holder of this award. He has scored 36 goals, two more than Lewandowski and five more than Cristiano. It is the first time since 2007-08 that a LaLiga player has not won this award. On that occasion Cristiano won it with the United coach. But you have to go until the 2003-04 season to find the last time that no player from a Spanish club was in the top three of this award.

The loss of goal in LaLiga is palpable in most clubs. Analyzing the many scored in the last five years in First by the 20 participants of the last edition, Up to nine teams have experienced their worst scoring record this season: Barcelona, Atlético, Valencia, Athletic, Eibar, Alavés, Celta, Leganés and Espanyol. Being able to be ten if Valladolid were included, who in the two seasons he has been in the First Division in that period has always scored the same (32). Instead, only two (Granada and Osasuna) have managed to record their best scoring figure in that period of time.
Another fact that shows the lack of goal is the Pichichi trophy. LaLiga's top scorer has been Messi, something usual, but his record has been 25 goals, he did not win this award with so few goals since 2006-07Van Nistelrooy took it with the same amount. Although there are isolated cases of improvement in front of goal, such as Benzema (21 goals this season), one of the great ballasts in the goal has been letting great artillerymen escape. In recent years, players like Cristiano Ronaldo have gone, who scored 48 league goals in the 14-15. They also left the Spanish championship footballers like Neymar (he scored 13 in his last campaign at Barcelona), Zaza (13), Tomás (14 with Rayo and went to Benfica, although he was recalled by Espanyol in January), Sarabia (12), Ekambi (10) or Ben yedder (18), among others.
To stop this drought, the clubs will have to search the great scorers market or look at their quarries. They will also have to make sure not to let their top gunners go abroad, as we have seen years ago.
