Mario Götze would have already finished his career as a Borussia Dortmund player. The German had little to do with Favre and his departure was already announced but it seems that he will not play more in the rest of the Bundesliga.
The reason was the birth of her daughter Roma on June 6. The German constantly went to the hospital knowing that he would not meet the sanitary requirements to play again. Now, train apart and, although he could return if he gave two negative tests for coronavirus, his intention is not to do so, according to the German newspaper Bild.
Memmingen's is a legend in his club and he will not be able to say goodbye on the field and less, before his fans. Despite his injury problems, ehe is a free player who arouses interest and this newspaper assures that Atlético de Madrid would have tested Mario. According to Bild, Atlético's maximum offer would be a salary of two million euros. To Götze, who currently receives close to 10, it would not seem a very attractive offer, at least economically.
This year, the German has hardly played with the Dortmundo yellow shirt. Götze has played 609 minutes spread over 21 games between the Cup, League and Champions in which he has scored three goals and given an assist. The yellow national hero (he scored the goal of the 2014 World Cup victory) will have a rare farewell to Dortmund.
