José Antonio López Toca, of the Cantabria Committee, will also direct this Wednesday the second part of the Rayo Vallecano-Albacete meeting, of the twentieth day of LaLiga SmartBank, which was suspended at the break in December for insulting visiting striker Roman Zozulia.
The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) confirmed this afternoon that López Toca, the referee who led that meeting on December 15, will be in charge of refereeing the resumption this Wednesday in Vallecas from 8:00 p.m., in the first LaLiga game after the break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The match will resume after the break with a draw to zero on the scoreboard and with the La Mancha box in numerical inferiority for the expulsion, on the brink of rest, of Eddy Silvestre for “hitting his head in the face of an opponent, the game being stopped,” according to the minutes. The person in charge of the VAR will be Iñaki Vicandi Garrido, from the Basque Committee.
