“I know why it all happened”

Julián Muñoz’s grandson continues his particular television journey, which began in recent weeks with more criticism of his grandfather to talk about his health. In the summer he was already the talk of the town for an unfortunate joke about his grandfather, the inheritance and the garbage bags on his social networks. This Wednesday, one day after the death of his grandfather, he sat on the set of From Friday to comment on the corrupt politician’s posthumous interview with Santi Acosta.

“My grandfather never wanted to harm anyone”said Fran Redondo, one of the four grandchildren of the former mayor of Marbella and Mayte Zaldívar. He said that the family is “devastated” and that “everyone” was “around him” in his most difficult days: “He slowly faded away and left calmly and peacefully”. He also recalled: “He asked for forgiveness and what he wanted was to be with us”.

In this sense, it has gone back in time: “He always told me he wanted to get out of there. [de la cárcel] and share as much time as possible with us”.

Fran has reaffirmed and valued his two grandfathers, two of the most important people for him: “I know who my grandparents are”On why the two remarried in January despite her relationship with another man, Fernando Marcos, Redondo said: “I’m super proud and I know why everything happened”.

As for Isabel Pantoja, the grandson has clarified: “We don’t talk about her at home”The young man also exchanged a few words of affection with his grandmother when she called him to talk about Julián Muñoz and his posthumous interview: “He changed the word sorry for the word I love you,” said Mayte about his farewell and more difficult days, suffering from the lung cancer that took him and the deterioration of health that he had been suffering in recent years. The same deterioration of health that allowed him to leave prison and not serve a sentence for the 46 million euros that he has not returned to the people of Marbella.

“Given that Julián Muñoz has not returned the money, is it reasonable to think that he has it abroad and that he married Mayte to facilitate the recovery of that wealth?” Susanna Griso asked herself this week on her programme.
