Julián Muñoz passed away in the early hours of Tuesday at the age of 76. The former mayor of Marbella suffered from lung cancer which was diagnosed last January. In April, he announced that the disease was progressing rapidly and out of control. He spoke of “a galloping cancer”. The former politician died in the early hours of Tuesday morning, although the news was released at around 8.30 am.
