Leonor shares a designer with Meghan Markle and dares to wear lace and transparencies in Girona

After opting for very fresh and summery colours in her first two events in Girona, the princess has taken a new turn this Wednesday and has surprised with a much more adult, elegant and formal look. Leonor has presented the Princess of Girona awards in Lloret de Mar and has done so dressed by the firm Self-Portrait, one of the favorites of Meghan Markel, Miranda Kerr o Beyoncé.

The firm, founded by Malaysian designer Han Chong and based in London, is known for its elaborate lace, which combines the discreet and the striking in feminine and very flattering lines. For the occasion, Leonor has opted for a dress made of polyester, with lining in both the skirt and the chest and transparent in areas such as the abdomen, neckline and upper back. A very risky visual game with which the princess has climbed a new step on her style ladder.

The design, which can be found on multi-brand websites for around 450 euros, has a midi length, short sleeves with a slight puff and a waistband that adjusts to stylize the princess’ figure. She has combined it with a plain matching clutch and black open-toed pumps with a sensible heel by CH Carolina Herrera.

And if Leonor’s new dress has not gone unnoticed, neither have the jewels chosen for the occasion: dangling earrings with three small diamonds and a medium-sized sapphire. A perfect choice for the outfit and which she showed off in all its splendor thanks to a high ponytail and a clear face.
