The Paraguayan businesswoman has made a drastic decision for the good of her son, born last December. A few weeks ago, Gabriela Guillén sent a burofax to Bertin Osborne offering to resolve the paternity issue privately and amicably, but he received no response. Given the singer’s silence and disinterest, the mother has decided to file a lawsuit against the artist to take the issue to court.
According to Beatriz Cortázar, Gabriela’s intention was not to reach this point but the attitude of Fabiola Martínez’s ex-husband has left her no choice. “In the burofax, conciliation was requested to reach an agreement and avoid the lawsuit. When that burofax is not answered, the lawsuit process begins”, has explained. It has already been filed and the singer will receive it in the coming weeks, since it is the court of Alcalá de Guadaíra, the town where Bertín is registered, that must send it to him.
The court’s communication will not be a surprise for Osborne, although it comes at a rather delicate moment for the singer, who has not yet recovered from a persistent covid that has forced him to go to the hospital on several occasions, including canceling professional commitments. A few days ago he began receiving treatment at a clinic in Córdoba: “My father is having a hard time recovering. Fortunately, he is a very optimistic man and is in good spirits,” he commented a few days ago, his daughter Eugenia. “He went to the hospital to inject himself with vitamins, but he is not hospitalized. The disease has become entrenched, it is somewhat annoying, but his sense of humor is a positive ingredient to get through these moments.”
