MADRID, 25 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Dux Logroño's Spanish forward Olga García will compete with Sporting Club de Portugal in the eLaLigaPortugal Women's e-Sports Cup, which will take place this Friday and will be her professional debut in the virtual world of video games, with the first match also against the eternal rival of the Lisbon club, Benfica.

The 31-year-old forward will compete in her first competition in the video game 'EAFC 24', a milestone that she herself did not count on months ago, when she presented this project together with DUX Gaming and VISA. Then, she told Europa Press that the idea was to start for “EAFC 25 or EAFC26”, although she assured that she was “at a very good level.”

She also admitted that the virtual world has a “positive” side for her. “By playing at a professional level in the soccer term, you know how to manage those moments and that is important. There are parallels that serve you in real life and by training I will improve,” she expressed.

Dosrius's assured on the club's social networks that “she is very happy” and that it was “a privilege to represent the Sporting Club of Portugal.” In addition to her matchup this Friday against Benfica (11:00 a.m.), the 31-year-old Spaniard will face SC Braga (11:40 a.m.), Vitória SC (12:20 p.m.) and Gil Vicente (1:40 p.m.).
