Week 15 of the 2023 NFL season: Four things to keep an eye on in Chargers vs. Raiders in Prime Video
The Los Angeles Chargers and the Las Vegas Raiders’ NFL seasons have not gone as planned in 2023. The two teams are tied for last place in the AFC West with records of 5-8. This season, everything that could go wrong has gone wrong for each team.
The Raiders fired their general manger (David Ziegler) and head coach (Josh McDaniels) in the middle of the season. The Raiders have also put Jimmy Garoppolo, their big free agent deal, on the bench.
The Raiders tied their record at 5-5, but then they lost all three straight, including a home loss in Week 14 against the Minnesota Vikings in which they scored only three points.
The Chargers lost to the Broncos at home on Sunday, and star player Justin Herbert hurt his finger and will miss the rest of the season. The home fans were angry at head coach Brandon Staley, who is under a lot of pressure.
Even though Thursday’s game may not seem like a big one, many of the players and coaches have a lot at stake.
Big changes could happen to both teams over the summer, but what happens in the last few games should determine who stays and who leaves.
Since November 2018, the Raiders as well as the Chargers have a 5-5 record against each other. This won’t last for long, though.
The Los Angeles Chargers will visit Allegiant Stadium on Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET to play the Las Vegas Raiders.
In their last games, neither the Raiders or the Chargers were able to put together a strong offense. This game may come down to who has the best defense.
On Sunday, the point spread might have been in favor of Los Angeles, but the final score did not. They got beat up 24–7 by the Broncos.

Even though they only gave up 231 yards to the Vikings, the team lost. As a big part of their defensive dominance, the Raiders were able to keep the QB under pressure by stumbling him five times. Maxx Crosby as well as his two sacks were in front of everyone else.
Their record dropped to 5-8 after their loss. Los Angeles, on the other hand, has just five wins in eight games played at home this season.
The two lost their most recent games and failed to make up the spread. From what we can tell, the Raiders are likely to win by three points, making them the favorite.
If you bet the San Diego Chargers against the spread, you should feel pretty good about your pick because the team has lost four straight games when they were the favorites.

The Chargers, on the other hand, lost 24–7 to the Denver Broncos the week before ahead of Week 15.
