If the Cowboys and Eagles end with the same record, here’s how to break the tie

Sunday night, the Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles 33–13 in a big game that was very important to them. That meant the Cowboys were in first place of the NFC East when the night was over.

Both Dallas and Philadelphia are now 10-3, but Dallas has a better record in the NFC East (4-1) than Philadelphia (3-1), so they are not tied. The NFC East is now truly a race for the top team.

The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles both have 10-3 records with four weeks left in the regular season.

Both teams are trying to win their division and store a first-round playoff game. If either team completes with the best in general record in the conference, they could also get a bye.

As of Week 14, only the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles are still in the running for the NFC East title.

This may be the biggest gap in the division’s history. In the past few weeks, the big question was whether the Cowboys are capable of stealing the NFC East crown that at times looked like it was almost on the Eagles’ heads.

Let’s use the free PFN NFL playoff prediction to look at how the race for the NFC East might develop over the next few weeks and what that might mean for the NFC’s top seed.

Things seemed to have changed a lot in the NFC as well as the race to feed the NFC East last week.

When you look more closely, though, the Eagles’ loss to the 49ers didn’t have much of an effect because of how the NFL playoffs work now.

Yes, the Cowboys are now a single game behind the Eagles going into their game in Week 14. Even though the Cowboys won their last game against the Eagles 28–23 in Week 9, a win this week does not completely put them in charge of their fate.

Based on their record so far, a win would put the Cowboys at the top of the NFC East after Week 14. However, the Eagles still have their hands on the division’s future.

If the Cowboys win this week, the most likely outcome is that both teams finish the season 14-3.

They would then be tied for first place in the NFC East along with have a 1-1 record against each other. Both of them would also have a 5-1 record in their group.

There are 12 teams that the Eagles and Rangers have played together: the New York Giants twice, the Washington Commanders twice, the Buffalo Bills, the Miami Dolphins, the New England Patriots, the New York Jets, the Arizona Cardinals, the Los Angeles Rams, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Seattle Seahawks.

There are still four games left for both teams. The Eagles are 6-2 and the Cowboys are 7-2. This means we will move on towards the fourth tiebreaker based on the conference record.

If both teams win their last games, they will also be tied at 10-2 in games they have played against each other.

In that game, the Eagles would win and win the NFC East. The Eagles only have one conference loss, while the Cowboys have three. If the Cowboys won this week, they will have two losses.

This means that the Eagles need to lose a minimum of one additional game before the end of the season for the Cowboys to claim victory.

For the Cowboys to have a chance at the NFC East at that point, the Eagles would have to lose three more games as the Cowboys did.

There is no way for the Cowboys to win the division if the Eagles win all 18 games. It can be a tie or a loss. With games with the Seahawks, the Giants, the Cardinals, and the Giants again, it’s not likely that they will win all of them.

Of course, here’s another way to look at it: The Eagles will almost certainly win the division if they win this week.

If there were a tie after four games, they would be ahead by two games and have won more games against each other.
