The Browns defeat the Jaguars 31–27, with Joe Flacco throwing three touchdowns and four interceptions. They are now 8–5.
In his first game at home for Cleveland, Flacco threw for 311 yards and three scores, two to receiver David Njoku.
The Browns held off a late rally through Trevor Lawrence as well as the Jacksonville Jaguars to win 31–27 on Sunday.
The 38-year-old Flacco, that was signed by the 8-5 Browns on November 20, played like he did almost every time he came to Baltimore. After going 26 for 45, Flacco is now 10-2 as the primary player in Cleveland.
In two games, Flacco threw for 565 yards as well as five touchdowns. Kevin Stefanski, the Browns’ coach, never said who would start at quarterback this week, but he quickly said that he’ll ride with Joe Flacco every step of the way.

That team is the Browns. Now, they’re counting on Flacco to lead their last-ditch effort to make the playoffs.

With 1:33 left, the Jaguars trimmed a 10-point lead to four. James Proche II, however, retrieved the inside kick to keep the win. The Browns are 6-1 at home. The Chicago Bears will come to town next Sunday afternoon.
Jacksonville lost, and now they are 8-5. However, they are still one game ahead of the Houston Texans within the AFC South.

The Browns learned last week to Los Angeles that Flacco would help them stay in games. They found out on Sunday that Flacco can help these individuals win, and Stefanski agreed with that after the game. From now on, Flacco will be the starter.
“Even though I’ve been in a lot of locker rooms, you still want to earn everyone’s respect, and you won’t know if you have which until you go out there and win every day.”
