The Seville club will apply the internal disciplinary regulations
MADRID, 21 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Sevilla FC announced this Saturday that it had identified, expelled from its stadium and reported “to the authorities” a fan “after detecting xenophobic and racist behavior” by said person towards Vinícius Jr., a Real Madrid footballer, following a tanganza with Lucas Ocampos, player of the Seville team.
This was stated on its website by the Sevillian club, which “will apply the internal disciplinary regulations.” “Sevilla is contrary and condemns any racist and xenophobic behavior, even if it is isolated, as is the case,” added the note after the match at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium, corresponding to matchday 10 of LaLiga EA Sports.
Thus, the Andalusian entity showed “predisposition and collaboration with the authorities to eradicate these attitudes, which do not represent a fan like that of Sevilla.” This measure was possible thanks to the coordination and collaboration of LaLiga with the Sevilla club, providing police agencies with any recording of the expelled fan.
