Daniel Sancho’s family sends a statement three days after his entry into prison: “We are sorry for Edwin’s death”

three days after daniel sancho (29) entered provisional prison after confessing the murder to the Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta 44 years old, the family of the son of Rodolfo Sancho has sent a new statement regretting what happened and asking for respect for the “terrible situation” that “both families” are feeling at this very difficult time.

“We are very sorry for Edwin’s death and we accompany his family in sentiment,” they point out in the note issued to Agencia Efe.

“We appreciate the interest of the press, but we cannot make statements at this time so as not to interfere in the investigation and to respect the painful moment that both families are experiencing in this terrible situation that we have had to live,” they conclude.

Rodolfo Sancho, who traveled to Thailand with his son’s mother, Silvia Bronchalo, already sent a statement this Sunday, August 6, asking for “maximum respect for his son and for the whole family.” He did so after his son confessed to being the author of Arrieta’s murder, which occurred last week in a hotel on the island of Koh Phangan. Sancho is accused of murder and of dismembering the victim’s body into pieces to hide her remains.

This Monday, August 7, the chef entered provisional prison, in Koh Samui. The director of the penitentiary center revealed this Wednesday how the prisoner is.
