Spanish flavor in Cannes: Paz Vega and Amaia Salamanca sweep the Croisette

The fourth gala of the Cannes Film Festival has had two very special guests: the Spanish Amaia Salamanca y peace vega. The first, moreover, has premiered on La Croisette with a spectacular Pronovias design that takes us back to the golden age of Hollywood.

Made by Antonia Payeras, the dress has been made in two different qualities and colours: the skirt in intense black Italian crepe and the bodice in red silk mikado. The imposing skirt is made up of a mermaid cut, very tight to the body, with an opening on the left side and a spectacular 2-meter long train. The bodice is strapless, made with an inner corset for an impeccable fit and asymmetrical sleeves that wrap around the neckline. Satin opera gloves complete the spectacular outfit in true Rita Hayworth style. The creation of this dress has required around 60 hours of tailoring and 30 more hours for the modeling, developed in the artisan atelier that the firm has at its headquarters in Barcelona.

The protagonist of Bienvenidos al Eden has completed her look with sandals by Aquazzura and spectacular jewelry by Del Páramo Vintage, with a white gold setting and pavé brilliant-cut diamonds. They are ‘petal’ earrings of Italian origin that date from the 1980s and were made with more than 14 carats of diamonds.
