Viveiro puts in contention this weekend the titles of Spanish champion of Paralympic Road Cycling

The town of Lugo will host this Saturday and Sunday the 2023 edition of the Spanish Paralympic Road Cycling Championship, where the main national references such as the Valencian Ricardo Ten or the Catalan Sergio Garrote will meet.

During these two days, starting and finishing at Playa de Area, the national time trial titles will be put into play on Saturday and where the participants of the different classes will leave separated by a minute from each other for a 5.4-minute journey. kilometers, and route,
for Sunday and with a route of 21 kms.

In Viveiro there will be no shortage of the main figures of this sport, such as the multiple world champion and Paralympic medalist Ricardo Ten (C1), Maurice Eckhard (C2), Eduardo Santas (C3), the tandem formed by Christian Venge-Noel Martín, Gonzalo García Abella (T1), Joan Reinoso (T2), Sergio Garrote (H2) or Luis Miguel García-Marquina (H3)

As indicated by the RFEC, one of the great novelties of this edition of the championship will be that the organization, which is run by the Viveiro Cycling Club and which has the support of the Xunta de Galicia, the Lugo Provincial Council and the Viveiro Councils and Xove, will make an effort to provide live streaming for both Saturday and Sunday.
