The second edition of The Ocean Race Europe will be held in 2025 and will have a maximum of five stops, with the start in the Baltic Sea and the finish line in the Mediterranean Sea, as confirmed by the organizers on Thursday.
Under the motto ‘Connecting Europe: competing to restore our oceans and waters’, this test will begin at the end of the summer of 2025, it will start from the Baltic Sea and end in the Mediterranean, and will have boats of the IMOCA class, which has the sailboats ocean boats with the most advanced foils of the moment. The Ocean Race Europe is inspired by the European Union mission ‘Restore Our Ocean and Waters’ and will seek to disseminate practical solutions and the policies needed to restore the ocean, equally contributing to scientific research and running educational programs and workshops in all scales.
