They publish ‘Max’, the unauthorized biography of Verstappen written by André Hoogeboom

MADRID, 7 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Dutch journalist and writer André Hoogeboom publishes ‘Max, the unauthorized biography of Max Verstappen’, the Dutch driver who has ‘resurrected’ Formula 1 with his two world championships in 2021 and 2022.

Published by Libros Cúpula, ‘Max’, with 304 pages, talks about a driver born into a motoring family and who started racing karts at the age of 4. In 2015, less than six months after his seventeenth birthday, he became the youngest driver to sit behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car.

Following his maiden Grand Prix victory in 2016, he became a world title contender, a crown he won with Red Bull in 2021 and again in 2022. This biography charts Max’s lightning rise to global fame, covering all the steps of his career up to the present day and shows the traits of his strong character and his great talent through the voices of great people from Formula 1.

André Hoogeboom is a journalist and writer specializing in Formula 1. He currently runs his own consultancy and press agency. Max Verstappen’s biography of him was first published in the Netherlands in 2016 and has now been expanded and updated.

His other books on motor sport include a history of Zandvoort, a reconstruction of the adventures of the Dutch sports car manufacturer Spyker, and two novels, ‘Deadly Ambition’ and ‘Sabotage’. He lives in Alkmaar, near Amsterdam.
