Carlos III, attacked: they throw eggs at him in the middle of the street

Uncomfortable moment this Wednesday for the new king of England, who has traveled to the north of England to attend some commitments. Charles III he greeted the people waiting for his arrival affably when he suffered an egg-based attack by an individual who shouted: “This country was built on the blood of slaves.”

Fortunately, none of the projectiles hit the target and all the eggs ended up at the feet of the king, who was guarded by the police and removed from the scene. The person responsible for what happened, whose identity has not transpired, has been arrested.

It is not the first time that the son of the late Queen Elizabeth II has received an affront of this kind. Shortly after she ascended the throne, her figure in London’s Madamme Tussauds Museum was attacked by an environmental group, who smashed cakes into Her Majesty’s wax face.
