The president of the Government, Pedro Sanchez, has screwed up on his trip to Africa not once, but twice, mistaking Senegal for the country he was in, Kenya, in front of its president no less. The head of the Executive has had both mental slips during the official trip that he makes to the African continent accompanied by his wife, Begoña Gomez.
We are in the first stage of Sánchez’s first trip through African lands and he has already made a mistake in naming the country in which he is, no less than twice during his appearance with the president of Kenya, Willian Ruto.

With an error very similar to the one made in 2003 by the PP Defense Minister, Federico Trilloshouting “Long live Honduras” at a military detachment in El Salvador, the Spanish chief executive said during his speech in Kenya: “I believe that Spain is a potential ally in many areas in which we can work together with Senegal, to face future challenges that our societies are suffering”.
Damn he’s done a threshing!!!! Go Honduras!!! ???????????????

The leader of the PSOE continued with his speech and on a second occasion, blurted out: “Thank you very much, it is a great honor to be one of the first international leaders to visit you as president of Senegal thinking in the future”.
The African president was quick to correct him: “From Kenya,” he said, and Pedro Sánchez immediately acknowledged the mistake and apologized: “Oh, I’m sorry,” of course, in perfect English.

The blunder of the Spanish president, as expected, has been widely commented on social networks, and has accumulated, in addition to criticism, numerous and funny memes.

Criticism has also insisted on the fact that he is accompanied on this trip by his wife, Begoña Gómez, as an expert in obtaining grants for international affairs related to the African continent, and by no less than 68 advisers.
Sánchez has twice confused the president of Kenya with that of Senegal.
And that he has only traveled with 68 plugged in who “advise him”.

Apparently, none of them have been able to get the president to remember for sure which exact country he is in when he appears.
