Real Oviedo dismisses Bolo and Tito Blanco

Real Oviedo dismissed Jon Pérez Bolo as coach this Sunday due to the poor results of the first team, in relegation positions in LaLiga SmartBank, in addition to also announcing the dismissal of its until now sporting director, Vicente ‘Tito’ Blanco.

“Real Oviedo, after the sporting results achieved in recent days, has decided to undertake a series of modifications in the structure of the entity’s sports area in search of improvement on the path to excellence that a hobby and an entity like Ours. Sports director Vicente “Tito” Blanco ends his time at the Club, as well as coach Jon Pérez Bolo and the coaching staff that has accompanied him since his arrival,” the entity said in a statement.

The Carbayón team occupies the nineteenth position, the first of those in the relegation zone, with 10 points, one of the places of salvation, after linking seven days without knowing the victory, the last of them with a defeat against Albacete (1 -0).

“Real Oviedo thanks Vicente Blanco ‘Tito’, Jon Pérez Bolo and their coaching staff for their work, dedication and professionalism at the service of the entity, and wishes them the best of luck in their personal and professional future,” he said.

On the other hand, the club explained that the training of the first team will be led temporarily by Jaime Álvarez and Paco Fernández until the incorporation of the new coach and his coaching staff “in the coming days”.
