Burgos Promises takes the victory after beating Izarra 0-3

Burgos Promesas rounded off a magnificent performance against Izarra, whom they thrashed 0-3 during the match played at Merkatondoa this Saturday. Izarra entered the match with the intention of adding more points to their locker after drawing 1-1 in the last duel played against Arenas de Getxo. Regarding the visiting team, Burgos Promesas had to settle for a goalless draw against Mutilvera. Thanks to this result, the Burgos team is tenth, while Izarra is ninth at the end of the game.

The game started positively for the Burgos team, which kicked off at the Merkatondoa thanks to a goal from Nacho in the 26th minute. 0-2 through a new goal from the penalty spot by Nacho, who thus achieved a brace just before the final whistle, specifically in minute 41, thus closing the first half with a 0-2 scoreline.

In the second period the goal came for the visiting team, which put more ground in between with a goal from Pineda in the 68th minute, thus ending the game with a final score of 0-3.

With this brilliant display Burgos Promises rises to 36 points in the Second RFEF and is placed in tenth place in the standings. For its part, Izarra remains with 38 points with which it reached the twenty-seventh day.

The teams will continue to play their next matches in the Second RFEF: Izarra will try to return to winning ways in their next duel against Racing Rioja away from home, while Burgos Promesas will play in their home against Tropezón.
