Ibrahimovic and his retirement: “I panic at the end of my career”

the swedish player Zlatan Ibrahimovic assured this Tuesday that has “panic” at the end of his career after 25 seasons as a professional and warned fans -in his usual defiant tone- to “take the opportunity” to watch his football because “You will never see an Ibrahimovic again” in football history.

“I won’t be able to play the full 90 minutes. I’m getting older, but I’m still in good shape, so take the opportunity to see me on the pitch while you can because you won’t see anything like that again. You will see Elanga, but with all due respect, you will never see an Ibrahimovic again. Enjoy it while it lasts”indicated Ibrahimovic at the press conference prior to Sweden-Czech Republic of the ‘playoffs’ for the Qatar World Cup.

“I’m panicking at the end of my career because I’m not going to find the adrenaline I feel on the pitch anywhere”added the striker Milan. “That’s why I’m panicking, I’ll keep playing as long as I can and enjoying it,” added ‘Ibra’, who won’t be able to play this game against the Czechs but could -in case of victory- in the definitive ‘playoff’ against Poland .

In addition, the 40-year-old veteran forward admitted that he is aware that there will be “other opportunities” for his future, but he preferred to “focus” on the pitch and on the qualifying rounds that Sweden must overcome if he wants to be present at the next World Cup.
