The Acapulco Tournament has been left this Tuesday without one of its great stars: the German Alexander Zverev, second favorite for the title. Hours after what happened, the Acapulco Telcel Mexican Open confirmed through its social networks the decision of the ATP to disqualify Zverev also from the men’s draw for his behavior. “Due to unsportsmanlike conduct at the conclusion of his doubles match on Tuesday night, Alexander Zverev was suspended from the tournament in Acapulco.” In addition to this disqualification, Zverev also faces a serious financial fine for the episode in Acapulco, where he will not be able to face Nadal or Medvedev in a hypothetical final.
