Zaragoza City Council pays tribute to Teresa Perales this Wednesday

Swimmer Teresa Perales will be honoured this Wednesday at 5.30pm by the City Council of Zaragoza, her hometown, after winning the bronze medal in the 50m backstroke in the S2 category at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, according to a statement.

Zaragoza City Council will pay tribute to swimmer Teresa Perales this Wednesday, with a reception at 5:10 p.m. by the Mayor, Natalia Chueca, in the Mayor’s Office, while the official ceremony in the Reception Hall will take place from 5:30 p.m.

The Zaragoza native won bronze in the 50m backstroke in the S2 category at Paris 2024. She is also the most decorated Spanish athlete at the Paralympic Games, with a total of 28 medals since her debut at the Sydney 2000 Games.
