Who is the heaviest companion in this confinement, who is most bored and who makes the most of the time?
The heaviest is difficult to say one, because we spend a lot of time at home and we all get videos and images of this situation. And in general we are all equally bored because we are not used to spending so much time at home, we lived a lot and with colleagues. And the most entertaining I think is Zurutuza because he has been a father for the second time and will be taking advantage of spending more time at home with his two children and his wife.
Why have several colleagues considered you the heaviest in the squad?
The truth that having Remiro by his side helps, we spend a lot of time together and in that relationship they try to get partners like Portu and Merino, who are in all the sauces. I have the nickname of heavy, but any other partner could take it, but I assume it, because when I have a boring day I am a bit of a ballplayer, and I have earned it.
How do you see the option that the Royal can consider presenting an ERTE?
So far they have not raised anything, but like any club worker we will have to face what comes, if from above they consider that our salaries should be affected, because it is a situation that we all have to live and we must all move it forward thinking of the best for the club. In this aspect we are calm knowing that what has to come will be faced naturally and willing to help so that everything is easier.
What was the most special match with Real?
The day of my debut, because being a Real fan I think there is nothing more special than that. It was a very special day for me. And then I can't forget the Miranda semifinal because we got the final for the Copa del Rey.
Does this coronavirus crisis make you more angry because what was the best season of your career is slowing down?
It was a very beautiful season, yes. With many minutes and regularity, in some games I have worn the bracelet, which is very nice for a kid from the quarry. And it is clear that these things are not good, but it is not in our hands and we have to face it naturally and we will continue working at home to return to the point where we had left it.
How do you occupy your time without being able to leave home?
With the exercises that we have to do during the day and some extras that I do with my girlfriend, and the challenges that come from my colleagues … I occupy the day. Netflix also helps a lot and then taking the dog out to relieve itself. Between one thing and another we are doing well, we are entertaining. I like to cook, there I go salsaando and trying to innovate with new dishes.
How do you face the Cup final that we hope can finally be played?
I think for everyone at Real it is a historic moment. It is a very exciting challenge, we faced it with a great desire to do something very nice for Real, because I think we deserve to win a title like that. And together we will be closer to achieving it.
How do you maintain tension without being able to leave home and play games?
Taking the daily dynamics well and without stopping. It is in our hands to get back to how we were before as soon as possible and therefore do it well. We did not want to stop, but things are like this, and we should not give it more thought. It is not easy, there are eleven games left to finish the league, everything is very rare, but I hope that everything happens as soon as possible.
Is Markel Bergara the best footballer with whom you have shared costumes?
The best footballer and the best person. I have a close relationship with Markel, we get along very well. In Madrid we spend a lot of time together. Thanks to Real and football I have managed to have a very close relationship, and we are privileged to be able to experience this. And more in the Real, which is a great family.
