The tension between Frank Cuesta (52) and his ex-wife, the Thai singer and actress Yuyee Alissa Intusmith (51), has increased in recent days following the already known controversy over the sanctuary. A Thai sanctuary that legally belongs to her, and that he could not put in his name at the time because he is not a citizen of the Asian country. The presenter and adventurer explained a few days ago that they have reached an agreement: Frank would pay his ex 250,000 euros in four installments. After the first words of the eldest son of both, Zape, about this confrontation, Yuyee’s first statements on the matter have now arrived.
After the agreement they reached, which Frank is not very happy with, the herpetologist also regretted having received a complaint from his ex and her girlfriend, Chris Korn. All because of the threats that the two were receiving from other people, after he decided to uncover the controversy of the sanctuary on his networks.
Regarding this complaint, Yuyee says: “What I do is protect myself, for my safety and that of my children”. Asked if her ex-husband had anything to do with these attacks, she replied in The World: “I don’t know what he did or why he did it.What I do know is that I must set limits and protect my life the best I can, and also protect everyone I love. I am having a hard time leading a normal life and I feel very threatened by all this.“.
About his marriage, from which his five children were born, he says: “For 22 years, I never felt truly loved and his lies were constant.I felt smaller and smaller. So misunderstood that my true self began to fade away. I wasn’t happy and now I just want to free myself from all that control. I ask people to have compassion.“.
That said, she doesn’t sum up her relationship with Frank as a fairy tale: “My past relationship with Frank was complicated. As a couple, it was difficult because of the constant lying and not feeling loved or important. As a father, I think he tried to do his best in many ways, but the complications of our relationship made it difficult for us to function as a united family.”
Now, the actress is excited to be alongside Chris Korn, a trans woman: “Chris is finishing his studies to become a chef. He is well off, has a sister who adores him and respects himself.”And on how well he feels with her, he adds: “Chris is my first relationship with someone of the same sex, and it’s something totally new for me.”
It should be remembered that Frank Cuesta began a tireless battle in 2014 to demand the release of the mother of his children (Zipi, Zape, Zorro and Pepsi), from whom he separated in 2012. She was convicted of a drug trafficking crime – 5 milligrams of cocaine – and entered a prison in Thailand to serve 15 years of her sentence. Finally, in November 2020 she was released after six and a half years in prison.
Under the slogan #FreeYuyee, the adventurer did not stop trying to get Yuyee released. Frank went to the media and also to the political institutions, which he has always criticised for not helping him enough. Years later, the situation is completely different because of the sanctuary that once united them, but now separates them. Zape, the eldest of his children who plays football for a team from La Rioja, has attacked his mother in this confrontation: “I don’t think he (Frank) has done anything to deserve this, I can’t think of anything.”
