Youssou Ndoye signs for Coviran Granada

MADRID, 5 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Senegalese center Youssou Ndoye became a new Coviran Granada player this Thursday, with experience in the Endesa League after serving two seasons ago at Real Betis.

“The player, born in Dakar, will join the Nasrid ranks as soon as he solves the relevant bureaucratic procedures, although he will not be available against Joventut de Badalona,” says the official statement from the Andalusian club.

The new Nasrid player, 2.12, 31 years old and from Daegu Kogas in the South Korean league, played six seasons in France, from where he signed for Betis: 36 games in which he averaged 11.6 points (57% accuracy shooting), 5.3 rebounds and a PIR of 14.5 per game in 21 minutes on average.

“We are very happy with the signing of Ndoye. He is a player with experience in the league, since he was at Betis a couple of seasons ago. He knows the courts and the rivals. He has also played in France. He is a player who is already done and accustomed to a professional dynamic”, valued the coach of Granada, Pablo Pin.

“He’s going to help us raise our physical level or on the rebound and at an offensive level he can play both with continuation and with the low post. We think he can be a good piece and a good replacement for Cristiano’s hole,” he added, facing a second part of the season in which they will have to continue fighting to stay in ACB.
