your weekly planning

Queen Letizia turns 52. It will be next Sunday, September 15. It falls on a holiday and in a short week for the Queen. This is her planning with departure to Guadalajara included.

Queen Letizia begins the week with audiences. She will receive a representative from the Spanish Association for Emyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and a representative from the Association of Women in Music at the Zarzuela Palace on Monday 9th.

Her next work commitment will take her to Azuqueca de Henares, in Guadalajara. There the Queen will preside over the opening of the school year at the CEIP Maestra Plácida Herranz. Letizia is a great nanny and has a special connection with the little ones. The visit will leave us with a photo album with primary school students in their classes, with their work.

This event, one of the most anticipated in September, is scheduled for Wednesday 11th and is the last one on the agenda. Thursday and Friday, the eve of her birthday, are free. The King does not have any events for those two days either. His daughters are studying away from home: Leonor, at the Naval School of Marín, and Sofia, at the boarding school in Wales. With the empty nest, are there plans in sight for a family reunion to support Letizia on her anniversary?
