“You have to keep rowing until the end”

The Cameroonian midfielder Grenade Yan Eteki He is clear that his team will have to “keep rowing until the end of the season” and that all the games that remain “are important” in order to achieve the goal of permanence.

Yan Eteki described the tie signed by his team this Sunday against Rayo Vallecano as “a shame” because they wanted to “win” and had “several clear chances at the end” to achieve it.

“The important thing is that the team made the cut and showed that it always competes, it is the line to follow for the future. It’s not easy to tie two goals against and create chances to win because having one more player on the field doesn’t mean anything”, explained the Cameroonian about Sunday’s clash.

Yan Eteki has had minutes in Granada’s last two games with Rubén Torrecilla at the helm of the team after having been unprecedented, and even out of some calls, in previous months with Robert Moreno.

The midfielder believes that his team showed in the second half against Rayo Vallecano that when they are “all together and united” they are capable of giving “another face”.

“We have to keep rowing until the end. All the games that we have left are important and now to recover and think about the next game against Sevilla”, a player trained in the Sevilla youth academy added in statements to the club media.

Yan Eteki thanked the Granada fans for their encouragement because “they always help and support, in bad times and in good times”. “We are always grateful to them because they are always behind us when we need them most, which is when things go wrong,” said the Cameroonian.
