Yolanda Díaz will meet this Monday with Amanda Gutiérrez, president of FUTPRO

MADRID, 23 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The second vice president of the Government and Minister of Labor and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz, will meet this Monday with Amanda Gutiérrez, president of the majority women’s soccer union, FUTPRO, and a delegation from her work team, according to a statement.

The meeting seeks to delve into “the situation of the working conditions of the players”, as well as to guarantee that soccer is a sector “that has decent conditions and spaces free of sexist violence.”

The meeting takes place amid the controversy created by the acts of the president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Luis Rubiales, at the celebration of the World Cup in Sydney, by kissing the player Jenni Hermoso on the mouth. Díaz and Gutiérrez will try to find actions so that the union and the Government can carry out “jointly”, so that these events are “duly sanctioned”.
