Xisco Jiménez, a double to honor his father

Xisco Jiménez led Alcorcón in the potter team's win over Mirandés, in Santo Domingo. The Mallorcan striker from Alcorcón signed a great performance with a double in the wide yellow win, but his goals had a special value, it was the veteran forward's tribute to his father, who had died the night before.

Despite the news and when everyone assumed that Xisco would not be in this game, not only was he and was a starter, he also managed to put his team's victory on track with two goals. The first ones he gets with the pottery shirt, after arriving in Alcorcón last winter market, almost on the horn of the market closing. So far he had participated in four games, but had not managed to open his scoring account. Against Mirandés, in special circumstances, he got the first two goals in Santo Domingo.

At 34, the veteran Mallorcan striker seems determined to contribute with his goals to the permanence of Alcorcón in LaLiga SmartBank, in addition to his extensive experience in the First, Second, and even the Premier League. Since the 2004-05 season he has played in the First Division with three teams: Deportivo, Racing de Santander and Córdoba. His adventure in the Premier lasted two seasons and in the Second Division he has played with Vecindario, Deportivo, Córdoba Mallorca, Osasuna and Alcorcón.
