Real Betis have only won one game, and lost six, of the seven that the Aragonese referee Santiago Jaime Latre, who is in charge of directing the clash against Levante this Sunday (2pm) at the Olympic stadium Camilo Cano de La Nucía (Alicante).
The only precedent for Real Betis with Jaime Latre this season was the first league game, when the Huesca whistled the clash against Valladolid that ended 1-2 and in which he expelled Joel Robles, in the 8th minute, with a direct red card, for taking Sandro out of the box.
Last season Jaime Latre refereed two league matches against Betis, which resulted in two defeats: 2-0 against Getafe on matchday 10 and the 4-0 win conceded at Ciutat de Valencia against Levante.
The only Betis triumph with Jaime Latre took place on match day 32 of 2017-18 in a Girona-Betis resolved with a goal from Loren after a great move by Joaquín. In that same campaign he intervened at 0-5 for Barcelona at Villamarín. Previously, in 2015-16, Jaime Latre whistled at Athletic-Betis (3-1) and at Betis-Atlético (0-1).
