The Spanish center Willy Hernángomez played more than 10 minutes in the victory of the New Orleans Pelicans, in overtime by 116-112, against the Milwaukee Bucks, capturing 7 rebounds and scoring 2 points.
Without Antetokounmpo, the Bucks relied on Jrue Holiday’s 40 points and Jordan Nwora’s 13 rebounds, which weren’t enough to avoid a very close loss to the Pelicans at the Smoothie King Center.
Key to the Pelicans’ victory was that six New Orleans players added 10 or more points during the game, with one Jonas Valanciunas scoring 24 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Guard Josh Hart had a double-double with 11 points, 15 rebounds, 8 assists and 1 steal.
