The organization of the Mutua Madrid Open announced this Saturday the approximate dates and times in which Novak Djokovic, Rafa Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz will debutthe great claims of a tournament whose ATP table starts this Sunday with three games (Krajinovic-Isner, Sonego-Draper and Evans-Delbonis).
The number one in the world will be the first to be released. He will start his career in the Spanish capital on Tuesday in a day session, against the Spanish Carlos Gimeno or the Frenchman Gael Monfils. On the same day, but in a night session, the 18-year-old from Murcia will face the Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili or the Italian Fabio Fognini. And on Wednesday, the Spaniard’s turn, in the morning, against the Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic or the Kazakh Alexander Bublik.
Despite the fact that the three compete for the same side of the draw, Mutua has decided not to put their games on the same day, although if they all advance, they will coincide from Thursday in the central programming. On Friday, Nadal and Alcaraz could meet in the quarterfinals and the winner would be Djokovic’s potential rival if the Serb is still in the running.
