The Spanish Football Federation has presented to society the ball with which all the competitions organized by this body will be played this coming season.
The ball has been baptized with the name of Antwerpthe Belgian town that hosted the 1920 Olympic Games, in which the Spanish team was proclaimed runner-up. The team played its first official matches in those Games, specifically on August 28, 1920, defeating 1-0 to Denmark.
More of 100 years later, adidas, the main sponsor of the Federation, wanted to commemorate that milestone with a ball that will be used in the Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup, RFEF Cup and First RFEF and lower categorieswhich are organized under the umbrella of the Federation.

As the RFEF underlines in its note, with this ball this body is the pimermo “on the football planet that has a own ball and personalized for the dispute of their competitions”.
