Emiliano Suárez and Carola Baleztena face their future with serenity and hope after an unexpected setback. Carola has just spent her 45th birthday at the Anderson clinic in Madrid, specialized in oncological treatments, after undergoing a radical hysterectomyin which the uterus and fallopian tubes have been removed, due to cancer in the cervix. The operation was a success and the patient is now resting at home.
Carola, divorced and with two previous daughters, is the second wife of Emiliano Suárez and mother of his little daughter, Juana.. He is a member of the founding family of Joyería Suárez, where he worked as public relations and marketing manager for years, although for several seasons now he has dedicated himself to his true vocation: Garage Lola, an alternative space in the Madrid area of Tetuán, at style of independent venues in New York with a stable program of lyrical and non-lyrical shows. Beyond Garaje Lola, he also has a production company, Opera Garage SLwhich he founded with his partner, Macarena Bergareche. “There are possibilities that everything will be a scare because the tumor has already been removed and perhaps no treatment will be necessary, but we still don’t know that”he tells us.
