We enter ‘Casa Vaca’, the home of your dreams with Pablo Castellano

Maria Pombo y Paul Castellano are celebrating. The couple has finally finished building their dream home. It is nothing more and nothing less than a mansion located in the town of Galizano, in Ribamontán de Mar, where the influencer spends her summers every summer. On her Instagram profile she has given a tour of the house, which she has called Casa Vaca.

The businesswoman and the architect already talked about this property in the documentary about their family, Pigeon. At that time there were still a few months left before it was finished, although, given its location and its large plot, everything pointed to it becoming A magnificent place to go and relax with your children Martín and Vega, far from the noise of Madrid.

The house has only one floor and is U-shaped, which is no coincidence.: In this way, all the rooms and spaces face the garden and are connected. In total, Casa Vaca has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large living room, a spacious kitchen and a large swimming pool. Beyond the garden there are beautiful views of the countryside.

The decoration combines elements of retro and rustic style. The colours tend to be pastel shades, especially in the living room and kitchen, and there are no overly over-decorated rooms. Some decorative elements have been reused from their old house in the capital, such as the main door or the sofas, which have been reupholstered. Some friends and family advised and helped them to decorate the house. In fact, The living room table was bought from Laura Matamoros.

The house has high ceilings, which gives a feeling of spaciousness that is enhanced by the white walls of the main rooms. On the other hand, The doors and shutters are green and wood predominates..

One of the rooms they are most proud of is the kitchen. “We made the entire kitchen out of brickwork, covered with microcement, and the carpenter made all the furniture for us.”. The drawers, the chest of drawers, even the hood, which is covered in wood in the same colour as the shutters. And then there are the details, shelves to put things on…”, explains the youngest of the Pombo sisters.

Another feature of the house is that each bedroom has “its essence”“All the rooms are quite special because we decided that each room has to have its own essence. So, either you like it a lot or you don’t like it at all,” says the businesswoman, and talks about one of the rooms: “This room is totally retro. It has green wallpaper with flowers, decorative curtains, headboards and a retro wooden and raffia wardrobe.”

This second residence is very special for the influencer. It was where she met her husband, and where they celebrated their wedding on June 22, 2019. “It’s a dream because, really, it’s something I’ve dreamed of all my life,” she says in her latest house tour.
