Cádiz is tired of being harmed by arbitration decisions. The VAR always makes the yellow team lose and conditions the game. The last actions that have angered the cadista entity have been those that occurred in the match against Real Sociedad, where Cádiz has been defeated 4-1 after the VAR signaling a penalty by Negredo's hand (in Elche 1-1 Cádiz an equal hand was not indicated in favor of the Cervera team), the correction of the penalty that had been indicated to favor of the yellows and, finally, the direct red to Marcos Mauro.
All these actions plus those that have accumulated for weeks have caused the president of Cádiz, Manuel Vizcaíno, to explode, who has launched an open letter to the president of the RFEF, Luis Rubiales. We reproduce it in full below given your interest.
“Dear Luis, esteemed president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation: Fix the VAR issue, fix it now.
You who boast of having changed the image of the RFEF and of guarding the best league in the world, you are responsible for reversing this situation.
Cádiz Club de Fútbol is a team that comes from below and we are not interested in the media giving us five or seven more points for VAR errors. What we are interested in is getting what we deserve on the field of play, and it is not acceptable that technology always has a criterion contrary to our interests.
We cannot speak, we cannot express our opinions or raise our voices, because they sanction us.
We cannot remove the team from the field because they would take away the points.
We cannot challenge a referee because it is prohibited.
We can only remain silent before the injustice that, day after day, we have been suffering from the errors of the VAR. That system that one day decides one thing and the next the opposite. There are no criteria and nothing is clear Luis.
President, fix the VAR issue, for the good of football, for the good of the Royal Spanish Football Federation and for the good of all. We have never talked about the refereeing team, and after 20 years in this world, I no longer know what to say to the coach and the players, or what to say to the fans about our respectful silence. Every week I hear comments of all kinds, but the only one who has a sanction in the making is Álvaro Cervera, who has never questioned the honorability of the referees. Today I can't keep quiet anymore.
We all play a lot, dear Luis. Remember the mud of Second B when we talked about defaults and our critical situation, we complied and were true to our word.
I am not a fanatic president, we are a serious institution. You meet now.
Manuel Vizcaíno Fernández
President of the Cádiz Football Club
Member of the delegated commission of the RFEF in representation of LaLiga “
Manuel Vizcaíno attended the Carrusel Deportivo microphones and explained the reasons why he decided to write to the president of the RFEF: “We do not ask that anyone make a mistake in favor of Cádiz. We are outraged by the errors of the VAR technology that could end up taking us to Segunda. There are a series of plays in which it has always been interpreted in favor of the opposite or against Cádiz. We ask that the same criteria always be used. I think It is Mr. Rubiales who has to take action in this matter. I have written from president to president, because I think it was fair. Now let him do what he thinks is right. The squad is outraged, but Cádiz will never talk about the referees. Black-handed, nothing. “
The mayor of Cádiz, José María González, 'Kichi', also joined in the criticism of President Manuel Vizcaíno and sent a message of support to the club, to the Cádiz coach, Álvaro Cervera, and to the team.
Thus you cannot compete. It is impossible. Courage, kids and Cheer Cervera. Do not steal your illusion.
