Vikings’ Will Levis leads his team to an unlikely win over the Dolphins: “Hope America likes what they saw.”

A rookie quarterback for the Tennessee Titans named Will Levis threw a late td pass to DeAndre Hopkins, made the two-point conversion, and then completed two crucial passes that set up a go-ahead touchdown by Derrick Henry.

These plays helped the team shock the Miami Dolphins by winning 28–27 on Monday night. Levis threw for 327 yards and Hopkins scored a touchdown with 2:40 left in the game.

As soon as the Dolphins fell three and out, Levis completed a pass to Hopkins for 36 yards and to Chigoziem Okonkwo for 16 yards. After that, Henry ran for the score.

“So cool. We knew tonight would be a great chance to do a memorable thing on national TV.

It was likely our last game in prime time. Levis said after the game, “I hope people in America liked what they saw.”

He scored goals for the Titans when they needed them the most. Besides 35 yards on the ground, he scored two scores.

Hopkins came like the famous person he is. He caught seven passes for 124 yards and a score. There were also six catches to 89 yards by Tyjae Spears.

Miami had to turn the ball over on downs because the defense stayed powerful and sacked Tua Tagovailoa.

With 23 out of 33 passes, Tagovailoa gained 240 yards. Harold Landry III, a safety for the Titans, fired him three times.

When Tyreek Hill hurt his ankle early in the game, Miami’s attack took a big hit. He tried to continue playing through the pain, but it got too bad for him to stay on the field all the time. He only caught four passes for 61 yards.

Eric Garror messed up a punt, and then Will Levis threw a terrible ball to Derrick The Titans went from being determined to being hopeless when Henry made two mistakes.

The Dolphins took advantage of both of them to go up 14 points in less than five minutes left.

The Titans scored in just 1:54 and Levis led a lightning-fast nine-play, 75-yard drive. With 2:40 left, Levis hit DeAndre Hopkins to a touchdown. With the extra point, the lead was cut to six points.

The defense led to a quick three-and-out, which gave the ball back to Levis with 2:14 left in the game.

Teams that were behind by 14 or more points with less than three minutes left were 0-582 from Week 12 of 2017 until the Titans beat the Ravens in Week 14.

A rookie with big arms had plenty of time to cut through a Dolphin who was already weak. Just before the two-minute warning, D. Levis hit Hopkins open for 36 yards and then blocked Chigoziem Okonkwo over 16 yards.

This put Tennessee right on the edge of victory. After two plays, Henry dove to the end zone.

Since the Saints beat Washington 34-31 in overtime in Week 11, 2017, the Titans are the first team since that week to win a game they were behind by 14 points or more with less than 3 minutes left.

Vrabel told the team’s website, “We did a lot of actions that were going to cost us, obviously turnovers and mistakes.”

“But late on, we did more good things.” The defense made some stops, and the attack scored when they needed to.

The night at Levis had so many ups and downs that only a roller coaster creator would love it. First, there was a three-and-out.

Then, there was a pick-six that fell right into the hands of Dolphins defensive end Zach Sieler.

The rookie then began the slow climb, which helped the Titans tie the game in the fourth quarter.

Tennessee’s hopes seemed to be over after the bad pitch play. But Levis pushed through the last two drives by staying calm in the corner and hitting bombs when he had to.

It was the best 327 yards he’s ever thrown in a game, on 23 of 38 tries, with a touchdown and an interception. He also only took one sack, even though the offensive line has been beat up all season.

Levis said, “I was just following the plan.” “I paid attention to the honest person and believed that I didn’t have to push anything.” “That sweet spot where you throw it to the open guy while also pushing it toward the field.”
