MADRID, 16 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Coach Víctor Sánchez del Amo and eight other members join the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), which announced this Tuesday that it is reinforcing its commitment to the base of Spanish football with these nine additions to its team of professionals to train young talents.

“The RFEF continues to work on the growth and development of the lower categories and adds nine additions in the technical area, physical preparation, goalkeeper preparation, psychology and scouting who will contribute their work and extensive experience to the team of professionals who have been carrying out excellent work in recent years,” the federation highlighted in a statement.

Víctor Sánchez del Amo joins as coach of the national team area. A commitment by the RFEF for a coach with “great ability to train young players.” He was an international with the national team and a player for Real Madrid and Deportivo de La Coruña, among others, and with experience on the benches of the A Coruña team, Real Betis, Málaga and Cartagena.

David Tenorio, who has just coached CD Badajoz and Recre Granada, also joins as coach of the national team area. On the other hand, Paco Gallardo joins the organizational chart as an assistant technician. The Sevillian coach has developed his career at Sevilla FC and, in the last year, he has been a development coach at Leeds United.

The lower categories of the national team will have a new physical trainer, Miguel Ángel Campos, while Roberto Vázquez will join the team of goalkeeper trainers and Nicolás Sainz will join the team of psychologists.

The RFEF's scouting department will have the arrival of three new professionals – Carlos Carreño, Santiago Carpintero and Ricardo Pozo – who will try to recruit players with future possibilities in the Spanish team.

“This is a new push by the RFEF so that the base of national football continues its growth in order to train players based on a successful model recognized throughout the world,” the entity explained. The lower categories will continue under the tutelage, as coordinator, of Francis Hernández, who works with Vicente Blanco 'Tito' as deputy.
