The first squad of the Real Betis has returned to exercise this Thursday with a view to Sunday's clash against the Villarreal at the Estadio de la Cerámica, key to his aspirations to fight for fifth and sixth place. The goal Claudio Bravo and the extreme Diego Lainez have returned to training normally under the orders of Manuel Pellegrini, while Víctor Ruiz and Borja Iglesias have done it in the gym, doing specific unloading work, so they should not have problems to be able to play on Sunday.
The center-back Luis Martínez, captain of Betis Deportivo, has rejoined the training sessions of the first team this Thursday – he already did so on Wednesday – although due to age he cannot play in the first team for the remainder of the season. On Thursdays Pellegrini usually organizes training matches and Luis Martínez, 27, has been called to complete some of the teams, since Marc Bartra is still out, as are Dani Martín and Camarasa.
Luis Martínez is completing a great season in the ranks of Betis Deportivo and next season he could move to the first team, hence Pellegrini has him at his command in training, despite the fact that by regulations he cannot play the rest of the season in the first campus.
