The Espanyol coach, Vicente Moreno, confessed that his team was “very annoyed” after the tie against Barça that the culé team achieved in the 96th minute (2-2), again with “luck” the neighbor and rival in the derby as in the first leg.
“We are all very annoyed because we did things to win the three points and we had them there, we also deserved it in the first round. It annoys you but we are left with the image and communion with the field,” he said at a press conference.
The coach ‘perico’, who practically said that what Araujo could have done “slips” him – the rival made them the gesture of the Second Division -, valued the performance of his team. “It’s difficult to make a game against Barça and receive in the first and last play of the game. “Situations that can be improved. We had won the game and we knew how happy the fans would have been. We need to win. Today we had a chance to win and multiply it by a lot because it was a derby and we know what it means and it’s a shame”, he stated, before insisting that they deserved to win.
“Barça was lucky in the first leg. In today’s game, Barça is lucky again because it draws in the 96th minute, everyone tells the film as they want, but I am clear that today we deserved to win and also in the first round,” he added.
On the other hand, Moreno referred to the addition, six minutes, annoyed with these extensions in Cornellá. “If I compare it with last week, there were four in Bilbao.
