“Postcards from 2022. 3 months ago. Research trip to northern Peru and review with my parents of what remains of the library in Lima (the rest is in Arequipa),” Álvaro wrote this Sunday along with the photos of the trip. As can be seen in one of the images, Mario and Patricia were very smiling and close, surrounded by books.
From the environment of Vargas Llosa, they denied Isabel and already explained that unfounded jealousy was not the reason for the breakup, but their different lifestyles. At the same time, they gave another meaning to a story that Vargas Llosa himself published in 2021. They claimed that it could have autobiographical overtones.

“Every night, it seems incredible, since I committed the madness of abandoning my wife, I think of her and remorse assails me. I think I only did one thing wrong in life: abandoning Carmencita for a woman who wasn’t worth it (?). Every night I think of her and I ask her forgiveness,” he wrote then.
It must be remembered that Carmen is Patricia’s first name and that Vargas Llosa left her in 2015 for Isabel. “It was a crush on the pichula, not the heart. Of that pichula that no longer serves me for anything, except to pee.”
In recent weeks, it has even been commented that the author tried to return to the mother of his three children. News that would cheer Alvaro, Morgana y Gonzalowho never looked favorably on the relationship that their father began almost eight years ago with the mother of Tamara Falco. However, close sources have already told us how Patricia is after the unleashed storm: “She is savoring what she considers revenge after being abandoned by Mario to go with Preysler. She had a very bad time for what she considered a betrayal, but it is those who think that where they give them, they take them. Even so, he feels sorry for the situation of the one who has been the man of his life”.
