Valencia tracks the 'low cost' market

Valencia is combing the market in search of players with immediate performance, who fit in with José Bordalás' schemes and, especially, who adjust to the economic demands of the financial 'fair play'. Thus, as ‘Superdeporte’ advanced, the Mestalla club asked about Marcos André, from Real Valladolid. The goal is for the 24-year-old Brazilian forward to be the replacement for Kevin Gameiro, who will leave for free on June 30 after not renewing his contract.

Marcos André completed an irregular season in Pucela, as he was marked by an injury that kept him out for thirteen days, so his final numbers only reflected four goals scored and two assists.

On the other hand, and as reported by Radioesport, Valencia has asked Sevilla about the loan of Serbian midfielder Nemanja Gudelj, with a few minutes in Nervión. Likewise, the Portuguese center-back of Lille José Fonte has been offered. Although his career supports it, his age (37 years) is a serious handicap.
