Valencia meet again with an empty Mestalla

Valencia held its first stage rehearsal this Saturday for prepare the derby this coming Friday against Levante. After more than a month working out in the sports city of Paterna, the staff worked in Mestalla to 're-gather' to play in their own stadium but without an audience.

The president was hardly in the stands of the coliseum Anil Murthy and the sports director Cesar Sánchez, something similar to what will happen in a few days.

For Valencia, the sensation will not be totally new since just before the competitions were suspended but when they had already begun to take measures against the expansion of the coronavirus it was measured in his stadium behind closed doors at Atalanta on the second leg of the Champions League.

Of course, this time, in addition to the chants of the fans who will sound again over the public address system, the stadium will have another ‘color’ since supporters will leave their flags, shirts and scarves in the stands.
