His debut as blue and white: “First of all I want to thank Manolo and Málaga for the opportunity to be here. I also want to thank Rufete and Espanyol for the facilities they have provided to make this possible. I felt good in my debut, I haven’t been competing lately. The last year and a half at Espanyol has been complicated in terms of minutes. Physically I felt good, adapted for the few training sessions I’ve been in and wanting to accumulate training sessions, minutes and help Málaga as much as I can”.

How was the signing forged?: “I had it very clear since I knew about the interest. I knew that if I had to go on loan to a Second team, my first option would be Málaga before they became interested. I know that I have given my best performance in Andalusia. My last stage in Granada was very good and I wanted to be close to home”.

What can you bring to the team?: “I am 27 years old, I consider myself young but with a lot of experience in the category and in the world of football. I’ve been in my career for ten years, I have quite a few boards and I can contribute my experience. All the games that I have played in the Second Division can be a plus. The Málaga team is a young squad, with a lot of hope and ambition, and I think I can help a lot”.

Upgrade Options: “The experience I have tells me that the less we think about the final goal, the better. You have to enjoy every day, it is a very beautiful and very demanding competition. When the end of April and the beginning of May arrive, we will see where we are.”

The Rose Garden: “The fans are brutal, I know that the Andalusian fans are very passionate and demanding, but they help you a lot. I was delighted with the welcome”.

How do you see yourself?: “On a personal level, I am a player who has a lot of confidence and self-confidence. If the injuries respect me, I have continuity and minutes, I am sure that I will give the level. I haven’t competed in the last year and a half, but I came from Granada at a very good level. Physically I’m fine, I have enough experience to contribute to the team and to make a leap in quality at Malaga. On an individual level, you know us very well. I am a cheerful, daring player, who can act in any playmaker position and always wanting to have the ball and enjoy facing, dribbling and always ready to work and help the team”.

Would you like to put down roots in Malaga?: “I don’t just think about six months. I want to enjoy and spend all my energy on a day-to-day basis, enjoy each training session, be close to my people, to the city, to Andalusia, to the passionate football that is experienced in Malaga. What happens tomorrow doesn’t interest me or worry about it.”

What does Malaga expect from Vadillo?: “We know where we are and the club that Málaga is historically. Both the fans and the club are demanding, but we have to put ourselves in the situation we are in and in the category, which is very complicated. We face it with great enthusiasm and great ambition. We want to be as high up as possible, but always with caution and enjoying every day, which is the most important thing”.

Febas: “This squad does not envy anything to others with whom I played the playoff”

Premiere against Sporting: “I want to thank the trust placed in me by Manolo and by the club. The debut was a bit bittersweet. We deserved to win and in the end we didn’t get it. I think the match was very good, happy with adding my first minutes. My teammates and the coach made it very easy for me and the truth is that I am very happy”.

His signing for Malaga: “Before the market started, we had a conversation with Manolo. He showed me his interest, it was an idea that I liked, he wanted to leave the club he was in because he didn’t have continuity and it was an option that I really liked. We decided that the best option was to come here.”

What can you give the team?: “I come with great enthusiasm and I hope to transfer it to the locker room and on the field. I come with a lot of ambition and I hope to contribute everything the coach asks of me”.

Upgrade Options: “There is a good team, Second is very tough and each game is a world. It is very difficult. It’s a very long and difficult competition, but I see a good team and we’ll see where we can go. I’ve played playoffs with other teams and this squad has nothing to envy to the ones I’ve been with. You have to go day by day, enjoy the journey. We have found a very good locker room. I am delighted, there are happy people, who all go together and that in a team is very important for things to work. We have been asked to be ourselves. There is a very good locker room.”

Atmosphere at La Rosaleda at the debut: “I knew La Rosaleda from suffering it as a rival and it’s amazing to have a crowd like this that is supporting you for 90 minutes. I hope to have confidence, but I have to earn continuity on the pitch with my performance and have more minutes than in my previous team”.

What time is it?: “I am in a good moment on a personal level. On a physical level, too. I’m still young and when you’re young what you want is to play. We all want to play, in the end I was a bit burned out from my previous stage and what I want is to have a very good six months and help the team”.

Future in Malaga?: “We have to think more about the day to day and tomorrow we will see if there is that opportunity. I have seen the great city and the great club that is Málaga and I am very happy to be here”.

Definition of himself: “I don’t like to put labels on myself, but I consider myself a dynamic player, I like to be in contact with the ball, hard-working, and in the end we have to adapt the position to what the coach asks of us. I feel comfortable in all areas of the midfield”.
