“We said that we were going to defend the interests of the Bilbao headquarters. And we said it from the moment that UEFA unilaterally decided to break the contract with the Bilbao headquarters. UEFA recognizes the firm attitude in defense of these interests ”, said the Bilbao councilor.

“We have worked in a double direction, to obtain, on the one hand, financial compensation, that is, to recover what was spent, and on the other hand, to take into account that Bilbao is an attractive city for holding new events.
