Two weeks to sell for 10.5 million

Levante has fourteen days ahead until June 30 to sell footballers for a value of 10.5 million euros And so, square the budget of the financial year 2021-22.

Levante’s board of directors presented to its shareholders in December 2021 a budget that showed a surplus for the 21-22 season of 89,000 euros and to comply with it, it must sell for just over ten million euros.

If the president of Levante, Quico Catalan, does not manage to reach this figure in these last two weeks of June, it would present losses again after having presented a deficit of 23.2 million euros in the 20-21 academic year.

To date, Levante have only confirmed having received offers for the Segovian winger George Fruitswho ended the season injured, and by the Macedonian midfielder Enis Bardhi.

However, and as explained this week by the club’s sports director, Felipe Miñambres, the offer received by De Frutos, which would be from Getafe, is “insufficient”. In addition, fifty percent of the player’s economic rights belong to Real Madrid.

While, Bardhi rejected the proposal received by Levante from a team of the United States MLSalthough the intention of both the Balkan player and that of the Valencian club is for the player to leave Levante this summer.

Besides the departure of Jose Luis MoralesLevante is also waiting for short-term moves with goalkeeper Aitor Fernández, who despite having a contract could also leave the club.
