Two Oviedo players test positive for Covid-19

He Real Oviedo has confirmed this Friday the Covid-19 positives of two of the 28 footballers cited to start the preseason this Friday, players who are already isolated in their respective homes, who do not present symptoms and whose results are already made known to Health, LaLiga and the Superior Sports Committee.

The players, whose identity has not yet emerged, had no contact with each other either before or after having undergone tests on Thursday, so the positives of these two blue footballers do not affect return to work of the rest of colleagues.

Both athletes, who have known the results a few hours before the start of training, will remain at their homes under the monitoring of the club's medical services and they will not be part of the pre-season start, scheduled for this afternoon.

The rest of the staff and coaching staff they keep their work schedule and they will exercise according to the plan established in advance by the protocol: in three differentiated groups and doing only individual physical work.

If the tests that continue to be carried out in the next few hours do not register another positive result, this dynamic will change, and from next Tuesday they could train all the available troops in the same work group.
